This set of four functional cups was made in response to my experiences in society as a female. Each face, which also acts as a handle, is getting absorbed into the responding form of the cup just as in society women get lost or erased in the sexualized norms of society.

The neutral white matte glaze further emphasizes the injustice of contemporary society. Fired to cone 10 reduction, this set was made with a stoneware clay body using Buttermilk glaze.
